US Pro-Palestinian Activist Sues
Mahmoud Khalil, a prominent leader of pro-Palestinian protests in the United States, has filed a $20 million damages claim against the Trump administration.
The claim filed by Mahmood Khalil states that he suffered severe mental anguish, financial loss, and damage to his honor and reputation.
He said that he was illegally detained and an attempt was made to deport him in order to intimidate him and his family.
Mahmood Khalil says the time has come to hold accountable the misuse of power.
It should be noted that Mahmood Khalil was arrested by immigration agents on March 8.
