UAE Passport Now Offers More Visa-Free Travel — Visit More Countries Without Visa in 2025

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) passport has made a significant leap in global mobility rankings, securing the 8th position in the Henley Passport Index 2025, moving up from 11th place in 2024. This upward shift reflects the increasing global reach of Emirati citizens, who now enjoy visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 184 countries — a notable increase from 183 last year.

This enhanced mobility positions the UAE passport among the most powerful in the world, underscoring the country’s successful diplomatic efforts and international partnerships.

The updated list includes a diverse range of destinations across Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Africa. Noteworthy entries include China, Russia, the United Kingdom (ETA), Canada (ETA), and Japan, alongside traditional visa-free destinations such as France, Germany, and Malaysia. Countries offering Visa on Arrival (VOA) or Electronic Travel Authorizations (ETA) further contribute to the expanded access.

This development not only benefits UAE nationals in terms of easier travel for tourism, business, and education, but also reflects the country’s growing influence on the global stage.

The full list includes popular tourist and business destinations such as Turkey, Thailand, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, and South Korea, along with lesser-known countries like Tuvalu, Comoros, and Vanuatu, offering Emiratis a wide array of travel opportunities.
