Iran denies lies about Supreme Leader amid threats
Recent reports in the Western media claiming that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has left the country are false and politically motivated, according to Iranian sources.
Officials confirmed that Ayatollah Khamenei is fully in Iran and continues to directly oversee state affairs. They said such claims are part of a psychological warfare campaign aimed at creating fear and uncertainty inside Iran.
Iranian authorities also stated that recent protests have been limited and ineffective, lacking public support, and security forces remain fully loyal to the state. Reports of internal dissent or lack of loyalty were called baseless.
Analysts noted that U.S. President Donald Trump’s open support for Iranian protesters reflects American frustration and fear, as repeated attempts to create instability in Iran have failed.
Observers added that the United States and Israel are concerned about Iran’s independent foreign policy, growing defense capabilities, and regional influence. This fear has led to economic sanctions, media propaganda, and military threats.
Iran’s leadership emphasized that, despite economic pressure, the country stands strong, and most of the public rejects foreign interference. Historically, the Iranian people have shown resilience against pressure, sanctions, and threats.
Experts also warned that comparing Iran to countries like Venezuela or Syria is misleading, as Iran’s state, defense, and public institutions are much stronger and more stable.
In this context, reports about Ayatollah Khamenei leaving Iran are not only false but also seen as a failed attempt to increase regional tension.
