Who is Stephen Curry’s Wife Ayesha? Chef, Entrepreneur, Mother of Four, and His Childhood Love
NBA superstar Stephen Curry, who recently scored 26 points to help the Golden State Warriors secure a 111-85 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, continues to dominate headlines on and off the court. With a career total of 26,397 points, the two-time MVP and Olympic medalist is affectionately called “Chef Curry” by his fans for his remarkable scoring ability and revolutionary impact on the game.
Off the court, Stephen’s life is anchored by his wife, Ayesha Curry. The couple has been together for more than 14 years and shares four children. Their love story began in childhood; they first met as teenagers and reconnected years later in Los Angeles. Reflecting on their first encounter, Ayesha recalled, “We were just kids. He was the cute boy at church that all of the girls were obsessed with, so I made a generalisation that maybe he wasn’t for me.”
Ayesha, born Ayesha Alexander on March 23, 1989, in Toronto, Canada, is a multi-talented personality. She began her acting career in 2008 with roles in Hannah Montana, Good Luck Charlie, and other TV shows and films. In 2014, she launched her cooking journey with the YouTube channel Little Lights of Mine, sharing recipes and culinary tips. She later published her cookbook, The Seasoned Life, and hosted Food Network shows including Ayesha’s Homemade and Ayesha Home Kitchen. Ayesha also co-owns Mina/Curry International Smoke restaurants in the U.S. Her entrepreneurial ventures and media presence have contributed to a reported net worth of USD 50 million.
Stephen and Ayesha tied the knot on June 30, 2011, in an intimate ceremony with 400 guests. They are proud parents of four: daughters Riley Elizabeth and Ryan Carson, and sons Canon and Caius Chai. On balancing their personal and professional lives, Ayesha said, “It can be challenging sometimes, especially with how hectic our schedules can get. But we made a commitment early on in our marriage that our relationship needed to be solid in order for us to be the best parents and people to those who depend on us. So we make the time. And it doesn’t have to be anything extravagant—sometimes it’s just grabbing dinner around the corner from our house. It’s just about finding little moments to check in and reconnect.”
The couple’s fairytale love story continues to inspire fans worldwide as they navigate life, parenthood, and entrepreneurship together.
