Iran Accuses America of Betraying Diplomacy

“America and Israel have imposed war upon us,” stated Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht Ravanchi. Addressing the breakdown of diplomatic efforts, Ravanchi noted: “We negotiated in good faith, but America changed its attitude. We do not trust America; it has only deceived us. Even in the name of diplomacy, they have always practiced betrayal.”

Regarding regional tensions, the Deputy Foreign Minister clarified that Iran was not responsible for the recent attack on Azerbaijan. “Iran did not target Azerbaijan with drones,” Ravanchi emphasized.
