IRGC Fires Advanced Missiles in Wave 22 Response
The 22nd wave of Operation True Promise 4, which includes a strong barrage of Khorramshahr-4, Kheybar, and Fattah missiles, was declared by Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC).
The IRGC claims that the missiles reached their intended targets and that the strikes were carried out in retaliation for the Minab school tragedy, in which 165 schoolgirls were killed in a US-Israeli operation.
The most recent round, according to the statement, targeted several US and Israeli targets “from Tel Aviv to the Gulf.”
The Khorramshahr-4 missiles, which have a two-ton warhead and can travel faster than Mach 14, were part of the barrage, according to the IRGC, which stated that the most recent strikes were part of a decision to broaden the scope of its attacks.
It claimed that military installations in Haifa, Ben Gurion Airport, and Tel Aviv were hit by Iran’s new-generation missiles.
The IRGC added that US THAAD radar installations in Jordan and the United Arab Emirates were damaged by Iranian missiles and drones.
Furthermore, a US FPS-132 early warning radar system in Qatar was damaged by Iranian strikes.
The Guard Corps emphasized that Tehran has the advantage on the battlefield and that Iran’s military forces are working toward waging a full-scale regional war against US and Israeli objectives.
The IRGC maintains that despite allegations of diminished defensive capacity, the success of the 22nd wave showed that Iranian missile capabilities are still intact.
The US-owned oil tanker was targeted close to the Kuwaiti border, according to a separate announcement from Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters. The ship was set on fire and is still blazing.
Iran’s ground forces, meanwhile, claimed to have attacked US sites in Kuwait using kamikaze drones.
Additionally, an Israeli Hermes-900 drone close to Tehran and a US MQ-9 drone over Lorestan were shot down by air defenses, according to Iranian official media.
Brigadier General Ali Mohammad Naeini, the IRGC’s spokesperson, added that an Israeli Heron drone was shot down above Isfahan by Iranian air defenses.
