IRGC Announces 44th Wave of “True Promise 4” Targeting Israeli and US Military Bases

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the launch of the 44th wave of Operation True Promise 4, claiming missile and drone strikes on several military targets linked to Israel and the United States across the region.

According to the IRGC statement, the attacks targeted multiple locations in northern areas of Israeli-controlled territory, including Kiryat Shmona, Hadera, and Haifa. The operation also reportedly focused on American military positions, including the United States Fifth Fleet and other US facilities in the region.

Iranian officials said the operation involved a mix of precision-guided ballistic missiles and attack drones. Among the weapons mentioned were the Khorramshahr missile, Emad missile, Qadr missile, and Kheibar Shekan missile, along with loitering attack drones.

The IRGC said the strikes took place on the night of the 23rd of Ramadan, shortly before the annual observance of International Quds Day. The operation was carried out under the slogan “O Severe in Punishment,” according to the statement.

Targets were also reported in areas such as Tel Aviv, Eilat, and western parts of Jerusalem (al-Quds). The IRGC described the operation as a tribute to figures it called “martyrs of the resistance,” including Qassem Soleimani, Hassan Nasrallah, Hashem Safieddine, Ismail Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, and former IRGC commander Hossein Salami.

Regional Bases Reportedly Targeted

The IRGC also claimed strikes on regional military facilities, including Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan. It further said US bases in Manama, Bahrain, and Erbil in Iraq were targeted during the attacks.

Iranian military sources also claimed that air defense systems in western Iraq shot down a Boeing KC‑135 Stratotanker aerial refueling aircraft belonging to the US military. They alleged that the aircraft was destroyed and all crew members were killed, though independent confirmation has not been reported.

Warning to US Forces

In its statement, the IRGC warned American troops stationed across the region to withdraw. Iranian officials said ongoing operations were part of a broader effort related to what they described as the “liberation of al-Quds.”

The IRGC added that the upcoming International Quds Day could mark a turning point in the ongoing conflict and claimed that further military actions may continue.

Earlier, the IRGC said the 43rd wave of Operation True Promise 4 targeted US and Israeli positions, including facilities connected to the US Fifth Fleet in Mina Salman, Bahrain, as well as locations in Tel Aviv and Eilat.
