Meghan Markle Visited Hospital in LA: Surprises Young Patients

Meghan Markle took time to visit The Children’s Hospital LA on Thursday as she met with young patients at the facility and joined them in a painting session. The Duchess of Sussex looked relaxed as she arrived in white shirt pants with a fawn cardigan over the top, and wore a black face mask to protect the patients’ health.

Meghan seated with children, chatting and painting with them while helping generate a joyful and comfortable atmosphere. she joined patients for a watercolor painting session at the Creative Oasis area of the hospital. Then, she met bed-bound kids.

The hospital’s officials said, “Make March Matter is an annual fundraising campaign for CHLA that unites celebrities, businesses, and the greater community in support of its mission of creating hope and building healthier futures.

It further stated, “Funds raised will help ensure the hospital can provide sick and critically injured children with the best quality care, research and innovation that happens at CHLA every day for the last 125 years.”

The visit comes shortly after Meghan announced she’ll join a “Girl’s Weekend” retreat with the Her Best Life podcast during her upcoming Australia trip with the Duke of Sussex.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be touring Australia in mid-April to “take part in a number of private, business, and philanthropic engagements.”
