Kendra Duggar Renting Family Home and Selling Assets to Cover Joseph Duggar’s $600K Bond Amid Ongoing Legal Cases

04 April, 2026 16:20

The Duggar family is once again under intense public scrutiny following serious allegations involving 19 Kids and Counting figure Joseph Duggar. He was arrested on March 18, 2026, after reportedly admitting to inappropriate sexual conduct involving a minor during a 2020 family trip to Florida.

Shortly after his arrest, his wife, Kendra Duggar, was also taken into custody in a separate case. Although she was released soon after, both are now facing mounting legal challenges that have placed significant financial and personal strain on their family.

Recent reports indicate that Kendra Duggar has begun taking drastic steps to manage the situation. She is reportedly listing multiple household assets for sale and preparing to rent out the family’s Arkansas home in an effort to raise funds for Joseph’s $600,000 bond and ongoing legal expenses.

Phone conversations recorded while Joseph was in custody suggest the couple discussed various ways to generate income. They reportedly considered selling items such as trailers, a four-wheeler, a pressure washer, and a wood splitter. Renting out their home was also identified as a potential steady source of income.

Kendra has allegedly already vacated the residence and moved into a more private location, further indicating that plans to lease the home are in progress.

Joseph Duggar was released on March 31, 2026, after posting a $600,000 bond. He now faces strict legal conditions, including limited and supervised interaction with minors under the age of 18, which extends to his own children. The charges against him include serious offenses under Florida law, with significant financial penalties attached.

Meanwhile, Kendra Duggar is also dealing with her own legal issues. She was arrested on March 20, 2026, on multiple counts related to child endangerment and false imprisonment. Authorities allege that her four children were confined to their rooms and had restricted movement within the home.

Although she secured her release after posting a bond of $1,470, she is currently prohibited from contacting her children as legal proceedings continue. In a recorded phone call, she became emotional while discussing the situation and revealed she no longer has custody of them.

In addition to their individual cases, the couple is also facing separate misdemeanor charges in Arkansas related to child welfare. They are scheduled to appear in court on April 29, 2026, as investigations and legal proceedings continue.
