Iran Issues Strong Warning to UAE Over Alleged Alignment With Hostile Powers Amid Regional Tensions

Iran’s Foreign Ministry has issued a sharp warning to the United Arab Emirates, urging it to stop cooperating or aligning with parties that Tehran considers hostile. The ministry stated that Iran reserves the right to respond appropriately if such actions continue.

In its message, Tehran accused Abu Dhabi of allowing its territory to be used in activities targeting Iran during recent escalations involving the United States and Israel. It claimed that this cooperation contributed to unprovoked aggression against the Islamic Republic.

The ministry further warned the UAE against continuing what it described as “destructive actions in collusion with the hostile parties.”

Iran also argued that the presence of adversarial bases and military equipment in the UAE poses serious risks to regional peace and stability. It rejected Emirati allegations accusing Iran of targeting the country, calling them baseless and aligned with U.S. narratives, and said such claims violate international law and the United Nations Charter.

Tehran added that, despite tensions, “the Islamic Republic has exercised maximum restraint, adopting a responsible approach and out of respect for the collective good of the region and the Muslim community.”

However, it also made clear its stance on future action, stating that the Islamic Republic “will not hesitate to take any necessary and appropriate measures to defend its national interests and security.”

Iran referenced broader regional dynamics, alleging that several Gulf and neighboring states had been used as operational grounds during earlier escalations. It also claimed to have responded with multiple waves of retaliatory actions targeting strategic interests linked to the United States and Israel across the region.
