Iranian President holds key meeting with Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei

Masoud Pezeshkian held a detailed meeting on Thursday with Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, according to Iranian media reports.

President Pezeshkian said the meeting took place in an atmosphere of trust, humility, and deep sincerity.

He said the Supreme Leader’s style of conversation, perspective, and humble and sincere attitude greatly impressed him.

The Iranian president added that Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei’s approach turned the discussion into an environment based on trust, calmness, understanding, and direct dialogue.

President Pezeshkian said he spoke with the Supreme Leader for nearly two and a half hours during the meeting.

He also said that the enemy’s goal is to weaken national unity and create fear and anger among the people through outside pressure.

According to the Iranian president, the enemy wants people in Iran to come onto the streets and weaken the government system. He added that the United States is increasing economic pressure in an effort to provoke public unrest.
