Royal Family Joins King Charles at First Garden Party of the Year

The Britain monarch just back from their Us state visit, and hosting their first garden party of the summer season at the Buckingham Palace on Wednesday, and it coincided with the anniversary of his coronation.

The party attended by thousands of people including Princess Royal, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.

The monarch was seen in a sharp suit, while Queen Camilla wore a pastel-blue dress, Anne styled out a tan dress, and Edward looked dapper in a suit.

While sharing a video of the party, veteran royal journalist Rebecca English wrote, ‘In my eyes there was one star of the show: Vegas (a hearing dog) who jumped up at three royals – Their Majesties and the Princess Royal – and then started to dig up the grass. Everyone loved it.’

Over 30,000 guests on every year are invited for this summer party to spend a relaxed summer afternoon in the beautiful gardens of Buckingham Palace or the Palace of Holyroodhouse, according to the royal family’s official website.

The website says, “In summer, the Sovereign traditionally hosts three Garden Parties at Buckingham Palace, and one at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Scotland. Historically, Garden Parties took the place of presentation parties attended by debutantes, and have evolved into a way of recognising and rewarding public service. ”

“Garden Parties are an important way for members of the Royal Family to speak to a broad range of people from all walks of life, all of whom have made a positive impact in their community.”
