Iran and Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry Talks

Abbas Araghchi Iran’s Foreign Minister has spoken on phone with his Azeri counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov earlier this morning.

The two foreign ministers deeply discussed bilateral relations and the latest regional developments, including diplomatic efforts related to the US-Israeli war, Iranian local broadcaster reported, they also discussed the attacks in Iran and agreed to help each other in difficult times.

Azerbaijan, which has a large community in neighboring Iran, has provided humanitarian aid to Tehran during the conflict and has offered to support peace initiatives.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry appreciated the Aid from Azerbaijan and is looking forward to work on mutual interest trade and exchange.
