Clearance of Frozen Iranian Accounts also Included in Peace Deal says Sources

International media sources stated the release of frozen Iranian money is a central and highly contested demand in the current US-Iran negotiations.

Iran is demanding the immediate release of up to (\$12) billion to ($24) billion in frozen assets as a precondition to signing any initial Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with US.
