Iran Military Commander Reaffirms Support for Judiciary and National Security

The commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Major General Ali Abdollahi, has reiterated the armed forces’ readiness to cooperate with the country’s judiciary in efforts to safeguard national security, combat organized crime, and uphold the rule of law. His remarks were issued in a message marking Iran’s Judiciary Week on Saturday.
In his statement, Abdollahi congratulated Judiciary Chief Gholam-Hossein Mohseni Eje’i and praised the judiciary’s role in maintaining justice and legal order. He said the armed forces stand prepared to provide coordination and support within their legal framework to help strengthen public rights, counter corruption, and reinforce national stability.
The commander also referenced the anniversary of the July 7, 1981 bombing, which killed Ayatollah Mohammad Hosseini Beheshti and dozens of senior officials. The commemoration is regularly observed in Iran as part of official remembrance of early Islamic Republic-era political violence.
