Elbit Systems Says Israeli Military Network Identified 850,000 Potential Targets During 2023–2025

Israeli defense contractor Elbit Systems said its Tzayad digital command-and-control system identified approximately 850,000 potential targets in real time across multiple military theaters between October 7, 2023, and the end of 2025. The figure was presented during a recent land warfare conference in London, where the company outlined the capabilities of the network in processing battlefield data to detect individuals, vehicles, and other objects for potential military operations.
According to the presentation, the system enabled the Israeli military to identify an average of around 1,000 potential targets per day during the conflicts in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. Elbit described the Tzayad platform as a digital battlefield management system that integrates intelligence from land, air, and maritime domains to support operational planning and target identification in real time.
The presentation was delivered by Miki Edelstein, a retired Israeli major general and executive vice president at Elbit Systems, during a conference organized by the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI). The figures presented by the company have drawn attention because they illustrate the scale of battlefield data processed by Israel’s command-and-control infrastructure during the conflicts, although identifying a potential target does not necessarily mean it was subsequently attacked.
