Come If You Dare: Iran Warns Trump No American Soldier Will Return Alive

Iran has issued a fierce response to former US President Donald Trump’s reported threat regarding Kharg Island, warning that if American forces attempt any military action or occupation, they will face devastating consequences and “not a single soldier will return alive.”
The warning came from Iranian National Security Committee spokesperson Ebrahim Rezaei, who reacted strongly to Trump’s remarks and said any attempt by US forces to set foot on Iranian soil or target Iranian territory would be met with overwhelming resistance.
In a defiant message directed at Trump, Rezaei said Iran was ready and waiting, adding that no American soldier would leave alive if Washington chose the path of aggression. His remarks reflected Tehran’s increasingly hardline posture as tensions with the United States continue to escalate.
Iranian officials framed the response as a message of deterrence rather than retreat, insisting that the era of threats and intimidation against Iran has long failed. Tehran maintains that pressure tactics, military threats, and sanctions have not weakened the resolve of the Iranian people and have instead strengthened their commitment to defend the country’s sovereignty.
Iran’s deputy foreign minister also weighed in on the growing confrontation, saying America’s power and its policy of harsh sanctions had failed to break the spirit of the Iranian nation. He argued that Washington’s coercive strategy had not produced submission, but had instead deepened Iran’s determination to stand firm against external pressure.
The Iranian official further said Trump understands only the language of force, adding that any response to such threats must be delivered in terms that leave no room for miscalculation. His statement underlined the mood in Tehran, where leaders appear increasingly convinced that only a firm and uncompromising message can deter further US escalation.
The exchange comes at a time of heightened tension in the region, with Iran facing growing military and political pressure from Washington. Iranian leaders have repeatedly said that while they do not seek war, they will respond with full force to any aggression against the country, its territory, or its strategic assets.
Tehran’s latest warning signals that Iran is determined to project strength and resolve in the face of American threats, while also sending a broader message that any attempt to challenge its sovereignty will carry a heavy price.
