IRGC Claims Missile Strikes on US Command Center and Jordan’s Al-Azraq Airbase

Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility for launching 10 ballistic missiles at what it described as a US command and control center in West Asia and the Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan. According to an IRGC statement, the strikes were carried out by its Aerospace Force at 2:20 p.m. local time on Thursday as part of a second wave of retaliation for recent US strikes on Iranian territory.
The IRGC said the attacks followed earlier retaliatory operations against US targets in Bahrain and Kuwait and were intended to fulfill its warning that any further American military action would prompt an expanded response. The statement claimed the targeted command center and the Al-Azraq Air Base were struck with ballistic missiles.
The IRGC warned that any additional US military action would trigger further attacks on American bases across the region. It said the remaining US military installations in the Middle East would not be spared if, in its view, the United States carried out further aggression.
