Iran Launches Attacks on US Bases in Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan

Iran has claimed to launch attacks on US military facilities in the Gulf in response to recent US strikes and has again claimed to close the Strait of Hormuz.

According to Iran, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) targeted Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain and also carried out attacks on US military bases in Kuwait. Iran also claimed to have struck fuel tanks and ammunition depots at Prince Hassan Air Base in Jordan.

An IRGC spokesperson said the latest drone attack in Kuwait targeted a US rocket launcher system.

The Kuwaiti military said a drone strike hit a Kuwait Oil Company drilling platform, damaging the site and injuring one worker. It also said three border posts were affected by the attacks.
