Field Marshal Asim Munir, Anita Anand Discuss Regional Peace and Security Cooperation

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand to discuss Pakistan-Canada bilateral relations, regional security, and matters of mutual interest, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation in addressing shared security challenges and promoting stronger ties between the two countries.

During the meeting, Field Marshal Asim Munir presented Pakistan’s perspective on regional peace and global stability, emphasizing the importance of greater cooperation in tackling common security threats.

According to the ISPR, Anita Anand praised Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting peace and stability and acknowledged the country’s efforts and sacrifices in the fight against terrorism. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening defense and security cooperation while agreeing to expand bilateral relations and deepen engagement between Pakistan and Canada.
