Chinese Acting Consul General Feng Deheng Meets Fahd Haroon in Karachi

KARACHI: Acting Chinese Consul General in Karachi Feng Deheng met Minister of State and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Digital Media Fahd Haroon during the latter’s visit to the Chinese Consulate in Karachi.

Fahd Haroon visited the Chinese Consulate on the invitation of Acting Consul General Feng Deheng, where the two held a warm and cordial interaction.

Diplomats from the Chinese Consulate and members of the business community, among others, also attended the meeting.

The meeting included an exchange of views on the longstanding Pakistan-China relationship and developments in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.

The two sides discussed digital media, technology and digital transformation, with particular attention to the expanding role of digital platforms in communication, innovation and economic development.

The participants also highlighted the importance of technological cooperation and digital connectivity in supporting economic growth and creating new opportunities.

The discussions reflected growing interest in strengthening cooperation in emerging digital sectors as both countries continue to expand their technology-driven economies.
