Another plane from China with relief items lands Islamabad to help Pakistan prevent spread of the Coronavirus.

Chairman National Disaster Management Authority Lieutenant General Muhammad Afzal said this.
While speaking at the airport this morning, he said a plane carrying relief goods has reached Islamabad.

NDMA chairman said relief goods included sanitizers and other necessary equipment.
However, Pakistani community in China has donated relief equipment  to prevent spread of the Coronavirus.
He said at present we have achieved the capability to conduct around 40,000 tests a day, while 27 laboratories are fully functional.
Meanwhile, Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul also spoke.
She said government is making all out efforts to protect its citizens from novel Coronavirus.

Earlier, over Rs107m medical supplies from China Red Cross Society reached Pakistan.

Red Cross Society of China mobilised a batch of anti-epidemic material and other medical supplies worth RMB 4.56 million.
According to China Economic Net report, they purchased materials urgently needed in Pakistan.
Approximately 2.4 tons of medical supplies include 2,000 surgical hoods which Tuoren Medical Devices Co., Ltd. donated.
They include 10,000 nucleic acid testing kits from Shanghai BioGerm Medical Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and 200,000 KN95 masks purchased with RMB 3 million donated by the Red Cross Society of China Inner Mongolia Branch.
The Red Cross Society of China arranged it.
Chinese Red Cross Foundation (CRCF) has launched the international humanitarian assistance fund to fight the epidemic.
Update on Coronavirus in Pakistan
On the other hand, 77 people have died of Coronavirus while confirmed cases rose to 4892 in Pakistan.
Official sources confirmed that 77 people have so far died due to COVID-19.
Number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in the country has incresaed to 4892.
According to the latest data shared by the National Command and Operation Center, 2336 cases are in Punjab,.
It confirmed 1318 cases in Sindh, 656 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 220 in Balochistan, 215 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 113 in Islamabad Capital Territory and 34 in Azad Kashmir.

762 people have so far recovered from the virus.
