Four civilians martyred due to Indian troops violation of LoC (Line of Control).

According to DG ISPR, Pakistan Army troops responded effectively to Indian firing.

Earlier, four innocent civilians including a woman embraced shahadat. However, one civilian got injured

Indian Army troops initiated unprovoked ceasefire violations.

They targeted the civilian population at Ratta Jabbar and Lewana Khaiter villages in Nikial and Bagsar sectors along the Line of Control.

Earlier, Pakistan’s permanent representative to United Nations Munir Akram suggested that Indian rhetoric must not deceive international community.

He said India poses the gravest threat to peace and stability in the region.

Meanwhile, he downplayed India’s election to the UN Security Council (UNSC) as a non-permanent member.

He said it would will not in any way affect the status of Kashmir dispute.

He said Kashmir dispute remains firmly on the agenda of 15-member body.

Munir Akram reiterated its settlement on the basis of its resolutions.

Ambassador Akram also referred to recent meetings of Security Council on Kashmir.

He said that the UNSC remains seized of the matter and that a just settlement of Kashmir dispute is the only pathway to peace in South Asia.

On Wednesday, the top military brass met at GHQ in Rawalpindi for briefing on national and regional security situation.

The Corps Commanders Conference also noted the Indian aggression.

The forum resolved to continue thwarting Indian designs and expose Indian targeting of innocent civilians in Kashmir and open support to terrorist outfits.
