Pakistan and China eye seedy completion of second phase of CPEC (China Pakistan Economic Corridor).

Ambassador of China  Yao Jing visited the CPEC Authority in Islamabad on Saturday.

He reaffirmed commitment to add value to China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and bring dividends to the peoples of the two countries.

He was talking to Chairman CPEC Authority Lt. General (retired) Asim Saleem Bajwa.

Meanwhile, the Chairman CPEC Authority said the Chinese Ambassador, on behalf of the Chinese government, paid gratitude to Pakistan government for an accelerated momentum and greater focus on CPEC.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Lt. Gen (Retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa said  this in a tweet.

Earlier, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi cited commitment of leaderships of Pakistan and China to further strengthen the everlasting friendship and promoting bilateral cooperation in various fields.

He said this during a meeting with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Hainan.

Bilateral relations, law and order situation in the region and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor came under discussion.

Foreign Minister listed timely and speedy completion of projects under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Phase-II as one of top priorities.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi apprised his Chinese counterpart about grave human rights violations committed by India in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, calling India’s Hindutva policy a threat to peace and stability for the entire region.
