Many inundated areas in rain affected Karachi de watered due to combined efforts of Pak Army, Rangers, Pak Navy and other civic and rescue agencies.

Many areas and roads inundated in the wake of devastating rains in the city.

However, latest reports it many such areas have been de-watered.

It came owing to authorities concerned  and cooperation among Pak Army, Rangers, Pak Navy and other civic and rescue agencies.

Rain water has been drained out from various localities in the city and traffic on almost all the roads in the city has been restored.

However relief and rescue operation is underway in some other areas of the provincial metropolis.

Earlier, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah visited rain-hit areas.

On Wednesday, Maritime Affairs Minister Ali Zaidi also visited  flooded areas in Karachi on Wednesday.

Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Syed Ali Haider Zaidi also talked to the media during these visits.

He assured the affectees of all possible rescue and relief support on behalf of the Federal Government.

Ali Zaidi said that not only in Karachi but in entire Sindh province the situation was worst after two-day heavy rain spell.

Furthermore, he said the main cities and many towns have come under urban flood.
