Over 307400 Coronavirus patients have recovered so far in Pakistan.

According to the latest statistics, the virus claimed lives of five more people during the last twenty-four hours.

Over 307400 Coronavirus patients have recovered

440 more people tested COVID positive after the tests of 27,091 during  the last 24 hours.

The figure of patients recovered from the virus has reached 307,409.

Now Pakistan has 9,384 active cases..

Meanwhile, Minister for Information Senator Shibli Faraz said spoke on coronavirus.

In a TV programme, he said the pandemic affected the economies worldwide.

Pakistan too bore the brunt of the virus. However, Prime Minister wanted to put minimum burden on the poor and bring prices of commodities to a minimum level.

On the other hand, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Social Protection Dr Sania Nishtar spoke on the COVID-19 pandemic.

She said it has shown like never before how critical health is to the security of each country.

She represented Pakistan at an online event held under the aegis of the World Bank Group.

The event aimed at highlighting current challenges to poverty reduction.

She said Pakistan has been extremely responsive working across all ministries to ensure a one government approach to health, poverty alleviation and ensuring an economic recovery that works for everyone.
