Coordination among different stakeholders a must for economic stability, President Dr Arif Alvi said.

He expressed these views, while talking to a delegation of Sindh Industrial Liaison Committee in Karachi.

Furthermore, he proposed to raise a consortium for planning and implementation of new projects and for better facilitation of new industrialists.

President Alvi reiterated the need for collective efforts for development of Pakistan as an industrial hub.

Moreover, he asked the industrialists to join government’s hands for solution of the issues faced by business community.

Dr Arif Alvi underlined development of Special Economic Zones as the key for robust growth of industrial sector as China has also developed its industries through such zones.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan has sought proposals from industrialists to launch corporate farming at larger scale for modernizing the agriculture sector and enhancing production of various crops.

He discussed the idea during a meeting with Pakistan’s leading industrialists in Islamabad Friday.

The PM noted national development and prosperity linked with the development of business community.

He said the government has included the proposals of industrialists in policy-making. That started producing good results.

He directed to resolve problems being faced by the industrialists in exporting their goods.
