National Immunization Management System developed for Covid19 vaccine.

National Command and Operation Centre has developed National Immunization Management System.

It aims to ensure efficient supply chain management and administration of COVID-19 vaccine in the country.

Ministry of Health took this initiative in collaboration with National Database Registration Authority and National Information Technology Board.

In this regard, officials concerned informed the NCOC at a meeting in Islamabad on Wednesday.

They further informed that the government stays in close liaison with leading COVID-19 vaccine manufacturers for its early availability in the country.

Moreover, they said the NIMS would enable automated phase wise registration of citizens for COVID-19 vaccine through SMS/ internet portals, based on CNIC numbers.

Over 37000 Coronavirus total active cases confirmed so far in Pakistan.

National command and Operation Centre (NCOC) confirmed this figure today (Wednesday).

The national tally of total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan reached 37,080.

According to NCOC, 2,155 more people tested positive for the deadly virus during the last 24 hours.

That figure came after tests of 36,390 people.

Meanwhile, fifty five corona patients died due to the deadly virus infection.

Among them, 46 had remained under treatment in hospital, while nine died their respective homes or quarantines.

However, deaths reported on Tuesday, according to the latest update.

During the last 24 hours most of the deaths had occurred in Punjab, while Sindh followed.

Out of total 55 deaths, 26 patients died on ventilators.
