Due to infrastructure work SSGC to suspend gas supply to DHA and Korangi

The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) will suspend the gas supply to the consumers of Karachi’s District South,DHA and Korangi on December 24th.

SSGC, in a post published at X stated that because of gas distribution infrastructure development the gas supply would be suspended from 9am to 8pm on Sunday, December 24 for industrial and residential areas.

The SSGC said that it would initiate some work to improve gas supply in District Korangi and District South.This extremely necessary work involves installing a 16″ dia. isolation valve on 20″ dia. C-station main in main Ibrahim Hyderi, Cantonment Korangi Creek.

The installation requires a temporary suspension of gas supply. Due to this developmental work, the gas supply would be suspended for 11 hours, from 9am till 8pm.

This temporary suspension would impact Korangi Industrial Area, residential areas of District Korangi, Ibrahim Hyderi, and some areas around and adjacent to the Defence Housing Austhority.
