Video: Two-storey residential building collapses in Karachi

KARACHI: A two-storey building collapsed in Liaquatabad area of Karachi on Tuesday.

The footage, available with GTV News, showed that the accident occurred near Burekhan Center while excavation work was being carried out near the building.

As a result, the two-storey building, located in a narrow alley, completely collapsed.

However, no casualties were reported in the incident.

It is pertinent to mention here that Liaquatabad No 10 is known for its narrow alleys and high-rise buildings, making rescue operations challenging in case of any incidents.
