Actor Rashid Mehmood faces backlash for controversial statement

Pakistan’s senior actor Rashid Mehmood has said that if given another life, he would like to be born in another country instead of Pakistan.

Recently, Rashid Mehmood participated as a guest in a private TV channel program where he expressed his views on various issues and also talked about the current situation in Pakistan.

During the program, while answering a question, he expressed his disappointment with the country.

He added that after being born in this country, what he had endured so far, it seems that in the next birth, he will avoid from further punishment.

The actor further said that if he gets another life, he think he should be born in another country and he is saying these things not only as an individual, but with national spirit and on behalf of the entire nation.

On the other hand, the video clip of Rashid Mehmood’s interview is viral on social media, which is being criticized by users.

Users are disputing his statement in a recent interview and saying that there is no concept of second birth in Islam.

Earlier, a video of Rashid Mehmood had come out in which he was expressing his anger after seeing the 45,000 electricity bill and while sharing the picture of the bill. Rashid strongly criticised the authorities.
