Aamir Khan, R Madhavan and Sharman Joshi to Return for 3 Idiots Sequel

The hit Indian film 3 Idiots’ director Rajkumar Hirani has confirmed that a sequel is in the works, exciting  fans who have been eagerly waiting for it for years.

The filmmaker made his name by making lots of popular movies such as Munna Bhai M.B.B.S., Lage Raho Munna Bhai, PK and Sanju. And rumors about a sequel to 3 Idiots have been creating rounds for relatively some time.

Hirani’s latest interview with PTI News confirmed that the director is working on the idea and moving towards another 3 Idiots movie. In the response of host’s question, the filmmaker smile and said “Writing… still writing.” He explained that he would talk about the sequel once the script reaches a suitable stage.

The film director also gave another reason to be excited when he confirmed that the main cast is expected to remain the same. “Casting will be the same,” He made the statement while referring to the original cast, including Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi and R Madhavan.
