Prince George to Reunite With Family During Eton College Break
Prince George is set to enjoy a break from Eton College in the coming weeks, giving the young royal an opportunity to reunite with his family and celebrate Halloween and Bonfire Night.
The 13-year-old began attending the prestigious boarding school in September and is now adjusting to life away from home. According to Eton College’s official term dates, students will have their first long leave from October 23 to November 8.
George is expected to spend his school break with his parents, Prince William, Princess Catherine, and his siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The royal family does not often share details about its Halloween plans, but Catherine has previously been seen purchasing costumes for her children, hinting that the family takes part in the fun.
George may also get the chance to enjoy Bonfire Night on November 5. A fireworks display is scheduled at Royal Windsor Racecourse on November 7, offering a family-friendly event close to the family’s residence.
The young prince has already had opportunities to return home during shorter school breaks in September and October.
Unlike his previous school, Lambrook, where he experienced part-time boarding, Eton marks George’s first full-time boarding experience. Each student has a private study-bedroom, encouraging independence, organisation and self-discipline while living away from family during term time.
