Earthquake jolts Islamabad, Peshawar other cities

Earthquake tremors have jolted Islamabad and other parts of the country including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Reports suggest that the earthquake rocked several cities of KP and Punjab, including Peshawar, Swat, North Waziristan, Hangu, Mardan, Malakand, Buner, Shangla, Dir, Mansehra, Bitgram, Torghar, Kohistan, Chiniot and Sargodha.
The intensity of the earthquake was recorded at 5.4-magnitude on the Richter Scale.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said that the earthquake had its centre in the Hindu Kush Region, Afghanistan with a depth of 215 kilometres,
After feeling tremors, people came out of their houses and offices reciting Kalima-e-Tayyaba in the affected cities.
