Tauqeer Nasir reveals why he rejected Saba Qamar

Veteran actor Tauqeer Nasir has made a staggering revelation about rejecting Saba Qamar during an audition.

Though, he admitted that she is one of the finest actors of Pakistan currently, in an interview, but wasn’t that good in the past.

The senior actor shared that he had conducted auditions for several actors for a drama and Saba was one of them.

He explained that Saba lacked commitment then and particularly in delivering dialogues.

Nasir mentioned giving her a set of four lines, which she hurriedly delivered without finesse.

He revealed, that the actress was in such a rush that she admitted she had to be somewhere else.

The actor concluded that he was specifically looking for seasoned actors for the roles.  “At the time, Saba Qamar did not meet his standards, leading to her rejection in the audition,” he concluded.
