Gold prices go up in local, international markets

Today's Gold Rate in Saudi Arabia - 10 April 2025
Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Monday following a similar trend in the international market.
The price of gold per tola in the local market rose by Rs700, reaching Rs283,700, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
For 10 grams, the price increased by Rs600, bringing it to Rs243,227.
This uptick comes after a previous decline on Saturday, when the gold rate dropped by Rs1,700, settling at Rs283,000 per tola.
The international gold rate also rose on Monday, climbing by $7 to stand at $2,735 per ounce, including a premium of $20, as reported by APGJSA.
Meanwhile, the price of silver remained steady at Rs3,430 per tola. Last month, gold prices in Pakistan reached a historic peak of Rs287,900 per tola
