LHC summons woman in sexual harassment case against Babar Azam

Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam is facing sexual harassment allegations as the Lahore High Court (LHC) has summoned a woman in this regard.
According to report, Justice Muhammad Waheed Khan adjoined the hearing till December 12.
He issued the order on the petition of Babar Azam with barrister Haris Azmat representing the former captain.
The court extended the stay order against the decision of the registration case.
Babar has challenged the trial court’s order in the LHC. A further hearing of Babar Azam’s petition will take place on December 12.
It is worth mentioning here that Hamiza Mukhtar contended that she and Babar had a relationship that continued for a long time.
She claimed that she later conceived but the batter had her abort the child, consoling her and promising to marry her, saying it won’t be good for them to have a child before marriage.
Attaching all medical documents to prove her abortion and her relation with Babar, she told the court that she approached the Naseerabad police to have an FIR registered against him.
