Gold prices plunge by Rs200 per tola

Gold prices in Pakistan saw a decline on Saturday, following a drop in international rates. In the local market, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs200, settling at Rs289,400.
The price of 10-gram gold also dropped by Rs172, reaching Rs248,113, as per the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
This decline followed a significant increase in gold prices the previous day, when the price rose by Rs2,900 to hit a record high of Rs289,600.
On the international market, gold prices also decreased, with the rate falling to $2,770 per ounce, down by $2 from the previous session.
Meanwhile, silver prices saw a loss of Rs32, with the new price set at Rs3,409 per tola.
