Track marshal dies in car accident at Karachi Hub rally

A tragic incident occurred at the Hub Rally Autocross in Karachi on Saturday, when a car lost control and struck a track marshal, resulting in fatal injuries.
The rally took place on the Karachi motorway near DHA City.
According to Rescue-1122 official Hassaan Khan, a car spun off the track and collided with Danish, a volunteer marshal standing at a cabin to direct drivers.
The impact was severe, destroying the cabin and dragging the marshal into a nearby ditch.
The driver, Tariq Khan, was minimally injured due to safety gear but the marshal suffered significant spinal and head injuries.
Despite being transported to the Civil Hospital Karachi’s trauma center, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
The Hub car rally was suspended after the accident.
