How to Buy Digital Prize Bonds in Pakistan? Step-by-Step Guide
The much-awaited prize bond draws for Rs1,500 and Rs100 denominations are just around the corner. The National Savings Division in Karachi is preparing for these upcoming events, following the recent announcement of the Rs750 prize bond draw results for January 2025.
The 101st draw for the Rs750 prize bond was held on January 15 at the State Bank of Pakistan, Banking Services Corporation in Karachi. The draw was presided over by Mr. Javaid Shaikh, former Joint Director of National Savings.
According to the official results, the first prize of Rs1,500,000 was awarded to bond number 271541. The three second prizes of Rs500,000 each went to bond numbers 317904, 496553, and 800663.
Looking ahead, the next prize bond draws are scheduled for February 17. The Rs1,500 draw will be held in Multan, while the Rs100 draw will take place in Rawalpindi.

As per government policy, the tax rate on prize winnings is 15% for tax filers and 30% for non-filers. Bondholders eagerly awaiting the next draw should keep these deductions in mind as they anticipate the February results. Excitement continues to grow as the draws approach, and many hope to strike it lucky!
