Aleema Khan, Uzma Khan acquitted in Jinnah House attack case

12 February, 2025 14:45

Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, the sisters of PTI founder Imran Khan,  have been acquitted in the Jinnah House attack case.

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore on Tuesday heard a petition seeking interim bail in cases filed against the sisters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan.

The court dismissed the interim bail plea in the Jinnah House attack case.

During the hearing, the investigating officer told the court that the investigation against Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan was complete. Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan are innocent in the Jinnah House case.

Later, talking to the media, Aleema Khan said that after spending 20 months, Allah Almighty has made us happy. I learned a lot about this system. It was said that you are not wanted in the cases of May 9. May Allah not let any enemy suffer from this suffering.

He said that if the investigating officer had appeared on the first day, nobat might not have reached here. Due to non-availability of records, 20 months had to go to the courts. Many people have suffered punishments due to the irresponsibility of the investigating officers.
