Zardari, Shehbaz receive special cars as gift from Erdogan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is on the visit of Pakistan, has gifted ‘Togg’ cars to his Pakistani counterpart President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Togg is Turkish electric car manufacturer which was founded in 2018.

The Togg SUVs were presented during Erdogan’s official visit to Pakistan.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif even took it for a test drive with President Erdogan.

Moreover, both countries signed twenty-four Agreements, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and Protocols to further enhance cooperation and cement relations.

The signing ceremony was held at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad on Thursday.

Both Pakistan and Turkiye signed two MoUs in Banking Sector, one MoU for promoting bilateral cooperation in Religious Services and Religious Education, one MoU in Halal Food.

Togg electric cars boasts impressive features such as fast charging capabilities, a range of up to 500 kilometers, and advanced safety features.

It’s also worth mentioning that the Togg factory, where these cars are produced, is equippe with state-of-the-art technology, including 250 robots that play a crucial role in the production process.
