Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has promised to further reduce inflation in the country.
Talking to reporters, Shehbaz Sharif said that he has worked hard day and night to fix the country’s economy, but more work is still needed. Gradually people are getting the fruits of a better economy, he added.
He said that when he took over the reins of the country, the situation was very difficult. We took steps for the betterment of the government and tried to end the culture of recommendation.
The prime minister further said that political disputes spread hatred, which is harmful for the country. During the PTI regime, a culture of hatred flourished, which damaged the country. The country can be developed only through mutual consensus and unity.
Shehbaz said that Alhamdulillah the inflation rate in the country has come down to single digit. The mark-up rate of banks has improved and the graph of inflation will come down further in the coming days. InshaAllah. This success involves the efforts of the entire team.
He observed that the government officials will also have to work hard day and night. Every stakeholder has to work sincerely for the development of the country. The army is sacrificing their lives for the security of the country, the premier added.
