Suparco predicts about Ramazan moon in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan

A spokesman for the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) predicted the moon of Ramadan 1146 AH.

He said that the new moon will be at 5:45 pm Pakistan Standard Time on February 28, 2025 and the moon will be 12 hours old at sunset on February 28.

According to SUPARCO, at sunset on February 28, the moon will be 12 hours old and 5 degrees high, it is difficult to see due to distance and low altitude.

According to SUPARCO, on February 28, the distance between the moon and the sun will be 7 degrees, due to which the moon will not be seen with the human eye.

In view of this forecast, Ramazan in Pakistan is likely to start from March 2, 2025.

Suparco also says that the crescent can be seen in Saudi Arabia on February 28 and Ramazan in Saudi Arabia will start from March 1. Shawwal moon is expected on March 30, Eid-ul-Fitr can be on March 31.
