UAE visit visa for Pakistanis – Fee & sponsorship details March 2025

07 March, 2025 13:48

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has solidified its position as a top global tourist destination, offering a wide range of entertainment options for visitors seeking quality leisure experiences.

To accommodate foreign travelers, including Pakistani nationals, the UAE grants visit visas with varying stay durations. Tourists can apply for a single-entry visa valid for either 30 or 60 days, depending on their travel plans.

Sponsorship and Visa Application Process

A visit visa for the UAE typically requires a sponsor or host within the country. The sponsor must be an establishment operating in the tourism sector, such as a hotel or a travel agency. Applicants are required to pay the prescribed fee and provide financial security as part of the visa application process.

Who Can Sponsor a Visit Visa?

Eligible sponsors include individuals, companies, or hotels based in the UAE. These entities facilitate the visa application process by ensuring the required documents and payments are submitted on behalf of the traveler.

Requirements for a 30-Day Visit Visa

To obtain a 30-day UAE visit visa, applicants must provide:

  • A recent personal photograph
  • A copy of their passport
  • National identity card (for applicants from Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan)
  • Valid medical insurance covering the UAE
  • A confirmed travel ticket for onward or return journey
  • Proof of accommodation, such as a hotel booking or local residence details

Updated UAE Visit Visa Fees – March 2025

As of March 2025, the fee for a 30-day tourist visa for Pakistani applicants is AED 200. Additionally, a 5% value-added tax (VAT) is applicable.

For applicants already inside the UAE, additional charges apply:

  • Knowledge Dirham: AED 10
  • Innovation Dirham: AED 10
  • In-country processing fee: AED 500

Important Notes

The total visa cost may fluctuate based on specific circumstances related to the applicant. Factors such as individual case requirements or policy changes can influence the final amount. The visa fees remain consistent for applicants of other nationalities as well.

Travelers planning a visit to the UAE should ensure compliance with the latest visa regulations and fee structures to avoid any inconvenience during the application process.
