IHC orders to produce PTI founder in person or via video-link today

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered to produce Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan in person or via video-link today.Â
Islamabad High Court (IHC) Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan summoned the superintendent of Adiala Jail on a petition filed by Mashal Yousafzai against his decision to stop him from meeting Imran Khan.
The court ordered superintendent Adiala Jail to meet founder PTI and ask him whether Mashal Yousafzai is PTI’s lawyer or not.
The court said that this is an insult to the court order which was done with the consent of the parties in the last hearing. The court had ordered the petitioner to meet the founder of PTI.
The IHC judge said that the jail authorities were expected to follow the court order and prima facie the court is satisfied that these jail authorities committed contempt of court.
The court said that a list was presented before us that it was given by the founder PTI, if the court is not satisfied, then the founder will ask the PTI himself.
The court expressed displeasure over the SP jail and said that you have made a joke.
