19 March, 2025 13:06

The visa process for Hajj 2025 has officially commenced in Pakistan, with authorities instructing pilgrims to upload essential documents via the Pak Hajj App.

Document Submission Process

Pilgrims must provide a copy of their passport and other required details by uploading them on the Pak Hajj App. Additionally, they are required to submit a passport-sized photograph with a white background.

To ensure a smooth process, pilgrims have been advised to update the app before submitting their information. The document upload can be completed by accessing the passport scanning feature within the application.

Deadline for Document Submission

The deadline for submitting all necessary documents is March 22, after which applications will be forwarded for visa processing.

Minister’s Statement on Hajj Arrangements

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Mohammad Yousaf highlighted the government’s efforts to facilitate the public under Nawaz Sharif’s leadership.

He assured that further positive developments, including lower electricity prices, will be announced soon. Additionally, he urged the youth to avoid misinformation and propaganda, affirming that the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) government is committed to fulfilling public expectations while ensuring that adversaries of the nation are unsuccessful.

Hajj 2025 Quota and Travel Duration

For Hajj 2025, Saudi Arabia has allocated a quota of 179,200 to Pakistan. This quota is evenly split between the government and private Hajj schemes (50:50 ratio).

Under the Government Hajj Scheme, pilgrims can opt for:

  • A long-stay package of 38 to 42 days
  • A short-stay package of 20 to 25 days

Private Hajj operators must adhere to Saudi regulations, requiring each organized group to have at least 2,000 pilgrims.

Hajj 2025 Cost Estimate

The expected cost for the Government Hajj Scheme 2025 ranges between Rs. 1,075,000 to Rs. 1,175,000, with an additional Rs. 55,000 for sacrificial services.

This update ensures Pakistani pilgrims have a streamlined visa process while preparing for their spiritual journey.
