Watch: PM Shehbaz Sharif performs Umrah

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, along with a high-level delegation including Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz performed Umrah during official visit to Saudi Arabia.

The premier arrived in Makkah on Friday, offered Nawafil prayers at the holy mosque seeking belling for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan and its people, as well as for the betterment of the Muslim Ummah.

Earlier, the Premier paid respect at Roza-e-Rasool (Peace Be Upon Him) in Madinah and performed Nawafil prayers there as well at the Masjid-e-Nabawi.

It is worth mentioning here that, PM Shehbaz-led delegation arrived in Jeddah on Wednesday for a four-day visit to Saudi Arabia aimed at deepening bilateral trade and strengthening economic cooperation.

According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Prime Minister was welcomed by Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, the deputy governor of Makkah, upon his arrival.
