Saim Ayub cleared for cricket return: report
A much-awaited development for Pakistan cricket fans as star batter Saim Ayub has reportedly cleared fitness test in England and is set to make comeback in the upcoming HBL Pakistan Super League season 10.
The left-hander has been out of action since January when he fractured his ankle during the Cape Town Test against South Africa.
His return to action was subjected to medical assessment in England, which he has reportedly cleared and is on his way back to Pakistan for the first time since picking up the injury.
Saim was undergoing rehabilitation under the supervision of Pakistan cricket trainer Hanif Malik in London.

He was initially expected to recover within six weeks. During this period, he missed Pakistan’s ICC Champions Trophy campaign and white-ball tour of New Zealand.
The 22-year-old already stared training after fully recovering from the injury for his comeback.
The left-handed opener sustained the injury while attempting to prevent a boundary during the Cape Town Test. Twisting his ankle in the process, he was immediately taken off the field and ruled out for the remainder of the series.

He is part of Peshawar Zalmi, where he is listed in the Platinum category alongside former Pakistan captain Babar Azam.
