Govt announces schools’ closure on March 28

All government and private schools will remain closed on March 28 on account of  Laylat al-Qadr (Shab-e-Qadr) in Sindh.

In this connection, the Sindh Education Department has issued a notification.

The  ‘Night of Power’ (Laylatul Qadr) is considered significant in Ramazan for Muslims as the Holy Quran was revealed on this night.

Earlier, the Punjab government has also issued a notification regarding Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.

As per the announcement, educational institutions across the province will remain closed from March 31 to April 2, 2025, in observance of the religious festival.
